The Accommodation & Features of Cool Cabin
These are some of the Cool Cabin features, which we think makes us unique and enhances your stay at Rudyard Lake.
Cool Cabin sleeps a maximum of 9 guests across three double bedrooms with extra room in the garden area in the glamping pod.
We have about 10 boats, kayaks, doubles, 5 singles, 3 Canadian canoes and 1 fishing / rowing boat. Safety lessons always available free of charge. Please ask Mark to arrange them for you. This might mean that you need to arrive a little bit earlier. Best to be safe! You can tow a youngster behind you in a single kayak if required. All boats are of the ‘sit on top’ style, so safe and easy to use.
Following the obligatory safety lessons, if you intend on using the boats and the kayaks, you do so at your own risk.

Mark, the owner is a trained chef and can create a variety of meals for customers should they wish, including Special Occasions.
Any requests need to be booked well in advance. Please call 07979 960852.
Catering is easier for bigger parties so no concerns there. Almost anything can be made and it cuts the cost down a little too. Want a BBQ at Water’s Edge? No problem, we can cater for that. Special dietary requirements? Just let Mark know.
Mark is a passionate Stoke City fan, so please be aware that his available time on a Saturday may be restricted.
Wooden & Electric Hot Tubs
We have two authentic Hot Tubs at the cabin, which are absolutely brilliant. Don’t worry about how to use them. We will explain everything to you.

What is ‘The Pod’?
This is a pod-like seat that you can sit and relax in.
You can plug iPod speakers into it and chill out by the lake.
Please be mindful that sound carries a long way across the Lake, and be considerate of the neighbours.
No music after 11pm please.
Dogs are welcome at the cabin if they meet a few requirements.
Usually, only one small dog is allowed.
No powerful dogs are accepted due to the wooden floors in the property, as these can be scratched by big paws!
See Are Dogs Allowed for more information including the additional cost.
