Conditions and Contract of Hire of Water’s Edge

 

Please leave the cabin as you have found it. We only have a maximum of five hours between guests to prepare the cabin. Please leave the cabin in a tidy state.

Please clean the Barbeque if you have used it and the outdoor area.

Please be careful with your use of electricity and gas and switch off lights at night e.t.c or when no-one is in. Please do not leave the windows or doors open when the heating is on. Please help to save energy at Water’s Edge, but keep warm and cosy.

Extra guests not in the party cannot use the hot tub or boating equipment without speaking to Mark and signing a disclaimer/safety form. This is for insurance purposes.

DEPOSIT - please note that a £100 returnable deposit is required for the hot tub and a £50 deposit for the boats ( to cover potential losses of paddles/ damage e.t.c) Deposit is only acceptable in CASH. Use of the equipment is not allowed until a deposit is paid.

All damages must be paid for.

Any malicious damage will be reported to the police.

If you wish to have the cabin cleaned mid-week or mid holiday then please let Mark know and he will try to arrange additional cleaning for you by our cleaner at a rate of £9 per hour (minimum  2 hours.

Please inform Mark of any damages that you notice on your arrival that have occurred before you arrived.

Please inform Mark of any damages you have incurred during your holiday.

Young Parties coming to Water's Edge

If you are a party without a designated adult then you must be aware of the conditions of hire (e.g. requirement of a deposit). If your party is made up of all individuals who are under 25, and there are more than two of you, you must call to arrange the booking and one person should take responsibility for the whole party. Water's Edge is not for groups of youngsters who wish to get too drunk and then use the boats, tub and log burner. It is very important that you leave the property as you found it. If you do not do this then you face not having your deposit returned or having a repeat holiday.

Use of illicit substances is not allowed as this is a criminal matter and you will be asked to leave immediately with no return of deposit.

You must not consume alcohol on the boats and noise must be kept to a reasonable level.
